Filtration
Ceramic Filtration Layers with adjustable Pore Size
The treatment of water with ceramic filters (e.g. for service water filtration or for pre-filtration of deep groundwater) is becoming increasingly important. Ceramic systems offer great advantages such as high temperature and chemical resistance, good flux values, good cleanability and backwashability, combined with a very long service life and mechanical resistance.
For such ceramic filter systems, CeraNovis offers suitable separation layers with adjustable pore sizes. They can be used on both tubular and flat filter systems and can be operated in both negative pressure and overpressure processes. Likewise, dead-end or cross-flow filtration is possible with these layers.
Ceranovis' filter Systems are based on Al2O3, ZrO2, on TiO2 or on mixtures of different particle sizes and the respective oxides.
